Greetings!

It has been an honor to serve in the Minnesota House of Representatives, as your Representative, from District 13B. I’m asking for your support in my re-election efforts to return to St. Paul, so I can keep working on your behalf.

There is no question that COVID-19 has changed all our lives. It has disrupted our family, social and work routines. The negative impact to economic activity in our state has produced what is expected to be a multi-billion dollar deficit in our state budget.

There is serious work that needs to be done in St. Paul and experienced common-sense leaders are needed to address the challenges Minnesotans are facing.

I remain positive and optimistic that we can solve the challenges together:

• Help Minnesotans recover from the COVID-19 pandemic by crafting policies that will safely re-open schools, create jobs, increase paychecks, and put Minnesota's economy back on the fast track.
• Address the upcoming budget deficit by forcing government to share in the financial sacrifice that has been made by countless families across Minnesota over the past several months.
• Work to cut waste, fraud and abuse within state government, and eliminate any program that isn't an effective use of your tax dollars.
• Protect your family from unnecessary tax increase proposals and find ways that allow you to keep more of your money, including targeted tax relief to small business job creators.
• Prioritize law enforcement, support the brave men and women who honorably protect our communities, and oppose any radical proposals to defund or dismantle police departments.
• Continue to stand strong against those in St. Paul who want to drastically cut nursing homes, and ensure our aging loved ones receive the quality care they need and deserve.
• Ensure that transportation funding continues to be sent to Central Minnesota so we continue to replace or improve our road and bridge infrastructure.

There is serous work that needs to be done. With your vote, I will be able to continue representing our Central Minnesota values in St. Paul.
